Sarah battled through the heavy snow to get to the studio today for a boudoir shoot for hubby for Christmas (hopefully he isn’t reading this blog!) before they jet off to Florida for Christmas. Boudoir shoots are all about moody lighting and suggestiveness rather than revealling all, so using the black infinity curve and a couple of snooted lights, I shot a series of low key images before finishing off in the bathroom with some fashion lingerie shots. This was Sarah’s second boudoir shoot though the first one, with another Wakefield photographer in his ‘converted garage’, wasn’t what she’d expected as he completey confused boudoir with Page 3 glamour! That’s not what I’m about and its always the client that sets the levels, not me, and you should find the shoots relaxed and fun and, in the spacious, heated studio, far less draughty than a converted garage :¬) Here are a few of Sarah from today – Santa’s going to bring hubby a really special present this year I think :¬)
