This is the first time in my career as a Wakefield fashion photographer that I’ve had the opportunity of shooting a set in a swimming pool and it was great fun. I used a couple of Profoto B1x heads and a small octa fitted with an egg crate for the lighting and other than that, simple photography with great results!
Wakefield commercial fashion & portrait photographer: I joined my creative team on site at Carlton Towers today for a fantasy shoot based on an Ice Queen styled shoot. Sarah was the model and we had Vanessa Perry on board for the make-up. The costune was a rental one that Sarah sourced for the shoot but really, the location made the shoot for me. I’ve shot in the prestigious venue of Carlton Towers previously and I have a wedding there in September which I’m looking forward to. Once the make-up was applied it was simply time for the costume and then on with the shoot. Honestly, this is just a small selection!
As a Wakefield fashion photographer, I love to be able to create an experience and set of images that most teenagers won’t forget. These shoots are always fun and relaxed and the client always goes away happy. Today was such a shoot for Carla who had been recommended to me by one of the earliest models I ever worked with when I first started out! I always insist on minors being accompanied by a parent or guardian just to keep me safe and I’ll only shoot fashion regardless of client requests but the results are always superb and, if you’re an aspiring model, they perfect for sending to agencies.
Life as a Wakefield portrait & fashion photographer can be very rewarding and today was one of those days when i shot a portfolio update for Mia Reesa, an experienced local model. I shot a variety of images starting with high-end beauty before moving on to general fashion shots on a grey sweep and on the various sets I have in the studio. I think we came up with a great selection of images of which this is just a small sample.
As a Wakefield portrait photographer, I’m always creating portfolio shoots for up and coming models and today, 17yr old Lucy was back in the studio for an update. I have worked with Lucy, who travels over from York, on a couple of occaisions now and she always photographs well. I created a range of images frem high-end beauty images to fashion. Fashion Photgrapher Wakefield: I met up with my number one model, Sarah, for today’s vintage styled shoot on location at a local cafe. We’d found this venue some weeks back and the owner kindly said we could shoot there. So, armed with a few speedlights and the Pentax 645z, I headed over there to meet up with Sarah in her vintage red spotty dress complete with apron and roller blades. Because it is a working cafe and business, we only had roughly one hour to capture the images after the cafe had closed to the public so it’s not a venue I can use on a regular basis but boy! Was I pleased with what I got? 🙂
