Today saw me working locally in Wakefield creating images for the new website of structural engineering company MJMC Group. The brief was to create headshots of the directors plus a few incidental shots of the technicians using the CAD computers and other workstations that could be used as filler images on the website. Business management director Michelle, who commissioned the shoot, wanted clean backgrounds to the headshots and also thought it might be appealing to have them as B&W images. With this in mind, I used a white paper but lit it to 20% grey for a subtle background and I’ve presented a few of them here as mono images. The soft grey background means they will look good in colour too if they decide to go that route.
