I’m booked to do a lighting demo at Newark Camera Club next week and I’ve asked Laura to be my model for the night. I used Laura once before at Wakefield Camera Club for a headshots demo but at these events I don’t usually take many photos so I thought I’d team up with Laura and have a run through what I might do on the night for the Newark brigade. I went through a few different headshots lighting styles using a large octabox and a tri-flector, then we moved onto some full length shots which I thought we might do in the style of vintage pin-up. Laura was a star and very natural and easy to get on with and I know she’s keen to see what we came up with so here’s one for now which I like so much, I gave it a mock magazine cover work over :¬) Newark Camera Club are in for a treat.
