The Christmas lights commission ends as it began with a shoot at Trinity Walk to mop up a few of the lights that weren’t available when I did the shoot for another client back in early November. Today though, I was back on site for MK Illuminations who were responsible for creating and installing these impressive lights and I just needed to get shots of the Christmas tree in Grammar Square and the reindeer under the gull wing. Todays shoot was awkward as the tripod foot on my 70-200mm lens has gone all loose and wobbly – really not what I want when shooting long exposures at dusk! Looks like my fee from this commission will go on a hefty repair bill from Nikon who certainly know how to extract money from a client :¬(
