Wakefield wedding photographer: Much of my work involves photographing people I’ve met while shooting other events and Jayne and Bill fall right into that category. Jayne is the mother of David whose wedding I did at Nostell Priory last year (see Hannah & David’s wedding here) and now Jayne is marrying Bill in a ceremony that will take place at Dimplewell Lodge, Osssett in two weeks time. So tonight, I met up with the couple, not forgetting Buster the dog, at Newmillerdam for a chat and a pre-wedding shoot. Although the day had been gloriously sunny, it was really dull and dark by the time we met at 6:30pm. Still we managed a shoot in the woods and along the pathways, all the while working our way back towards the Dam Inn where we would go through the day’s details. As we got towards the entrance of the park and were finishing off, another group of photographers came along and joined in taking pictures of Bill and Jayne over my shoulder. It’s the first time I’ve held an impromptu posing workshop but it was all good fun and hopefully, the other photographers got some great shots of a pre-wedding shoot at Newmillerdam :¬)
