Wentbridge House wedding: Andy & Nikki

Back at Wentbridge House again today for Nikki & Andy’s wedding. Nikki & Andy saw me shooting a wedding at Wentbridge House last November while they were at the venue looking around and as they left they took a card. Here we are 11 months later and I was shooting their wedding at the venue! We had a great day, the weather was kind – not as sunny and bright as yesterday but the overcast conditions of today are far nicer in my opinion for wedding photos albeit not as warm for the guests. We did the bridal preps at Nikki’s home in Horbury Bridge before heading to Wentbridge House for the ceremony and the formals. At the end of the night and before first dance, Andy and Nikki asked if I’d shoot them in the bridal suite – how could I refuse?! I love shooting in places with character, it’s what I do for most of my fashion and boudior shoots, and I love the challenge of shooting with flash but still keeping the ambience of the place. Here’s a very quick slideshow and not all the images have been edited – you will see quite a few straight out of camera but its been a busy weekend with two weddings and I’ve a load of commercial quotes to catch up with as well as wedding album edits!
