As a Wakefield Commercial photographer, I work for many local clients on a regular basis and one of my most regulr are Yorkshire Air Ambulance. Today I was at the airbase near Nostell Priory to photograph a couple of the paramedics and pilots wearing their new night vision binoculars that have been donated by a local firm. Up to now, the air ambulance is not able to fly during darkness but with the acquistion of the night vision glasses, all that is about to change. Today, however, night vision glasses were the last thing we needed, a pair of Ray Ban’s would have been more appropriate! I did a few shots of the paramedics with the glasses fitted to the helmets as well as some PR shots for the sponsors who were on site for the hand over.
