Ava Lou contacted me about a boudoir shoot and wanted to call by the studio for a chat. The reason she wanted to see some work and look at the set-up at my studio was that she’d had a boudoir shoot last year just after her 18th birthday by a well known Barnsley studio. However, the price and, more importantly, the poor quality of lighting has made her reluctant to go back again so Ava decided to look for somewhere new for her second boudoir shoot and ended up at my studio. Ava came along with her mum and I suggested bringing along an outfit in case she wanted to try a quick test shoot, I can easily do a quick shoot on one of the permanent studio sets. In the end, that’s what happened; Ava liked what she saw and we gave her a try. I used hot lights for the shoot and used the bedroom set and here’s what I came up with. Needless to say, Ava and her mum agreed the images, even just seen on the back of the camera, were way better quality than the previous shoot! She’s now booked in for a full shoot in a few weeks!
