Roy & Jenni pre-wedding shoot at Sandal Castle

Having postponed Roy & Jenni’s pre-wedding shoot a couple of weekends ago due to heavy rain, I was hoping for better things today when I met up with them at Sandle Castle. However, depsite the skies looking promising, the autumn sunshine didn’t appear and instead we faced some dull, flat light and quite a cool breeze up on the hill top there. Anyway, we went ahead with the shoot to give the couple a bit of a practice at being in the spotlight ahead of their wedding at Hotel St Pierre later this month. Its years since I’ve been to Sandal Castle and I’ve certainly never done a shoot there but I think it has potential. I especially love the way its possible to shoot against that huge vista with Pugneys in the background.
