Paul & Louise at Wentbridge House

It was a grey start to the day as I arrived at Wentbridge House Hotel for the wedding of Paul & Louise but by the time we got to shooting the formals after the ceremony, the skies were clearing and the temperatures rising until it was a positively balmy evening with some gorgeous evening light. We started with the groom getting ready while the bride was away at the hairdressers and by the time Louise arrived and began to get her make-up on, we’d already bagged the groom shots outside. Following the make-up and detail shots we did some bridal portraits in the room before heading downstairs to the ceremony in the Crystal Suite. It was cool outside at first, with quite a stiff breeze but it didn’t stop us having fun though the rose petal confetti exited the frame rather quickly! After the wedding breakfast we had a quick 10 minutes to shoot in some glorious warm evening light in the last few moments of the day – its amazing just how quickly the sun goes! Then after drinks and partying outside in the twilight, it was back to the Crystal Suite for the first dance to the sounds of live band The Munch! A great day all round! Good luck with the honeymoon in flooded Thialand! Slideshow follows, along with a few statics for anyone with an iPhone unable to get the full fat service.
