With just a week to go before Lisa and Matthew’s wedding next week end, I finally managed to catch up with them for a pre-wedding shoot and to run through the plans for the big day. The couple will be married at St Cuthbert’s Church, Ackworth before heading on to Kings Croft Hotel for their reception. I just hope the weather is a bit brighter than this evening! We met at Matthew’s dad’s farm for the shoot and I had high expectations to shoot on the old agricultural machinery and in the barns but boy, was it dark at 5pm tonight! We also got the back end of a heavy downpour too, so after running through the details for the day in the vegetable shed, we literally had 10 minutes in the small beech copse at the side of the farm house. However, its amazing what can be achieved in 10 mins with an ISO of 2000 and an aperture of f/2.8! Here are a few from the shoot and I think everything bodes well for the big day as its plain to see that Matt’s really into Lisa – he looked like the cat that had got the cream!
