Lousie & Russell at Blacker Hall Farm

If ever I’ve done a wet wedding, today was the day! No let up whatsoever in the rain for Louise and Russell who got married at St Hilda’s Church, Horbury before moving on to a reception in The Barn at Blacker Hall Farm. All through the bridal preps I kept looking out of the window trying to convince myself it was easing up but to be fair, it was wishful thinking on my part! However, a bit of rain wasn’t going to stop us having a good time and getting some great images! We did most of the guest shots in the church itself, but then Louise and Russell grabbed some brollies and headed out into the heavy rain for a wet weather shoot. Special mention to Eleanor who braved the weather with us and carried the dress, held brollies and shouted encouragement despite getting soaked along with me. I hope Russell has got over the embarrassment of his surprise ride to church :¬)

Here are just a few from the day as I have a Manchester wedding to prepare for tomorrow, so need to recharge batteries and wipe down the gear!
