Tonight I was at Wakefield Camera Club to do my usual bi-monthly lighting demo. This time I used a couple of softboxes close to the model to give a low key wrap around light which gave definition and shadow to the subject while allowing some light to spill round the front to put detail in the face. I took Demi along as my model and this was the very first time we’d worked together after meeting her while on location at a commercial shoot a couple of months ago. Although I only take a few shots at the demonstrations before handing over to the members, I was pleased with a few of the shots.
