Hollywood boudoir and headshots

Zoe dropped by the studio for some headshots and Hollywood style boudoir photography today. Zoe is a well known local model that has worked with many photographers in the area, but when she needs a portfolio update, she calls on me :¬) Today we were shooting some headshots for her profile on an actors website – Zoe is a budding actor – and also some vintage black and white Hollywood style boudoir for her own portfolio. These images were all done on the Pentax 645z which has oustanding image quality and absolutely love it! The 645z is now my go to camera for any studio work and increasingly so for general commercial work. Traditionally, these medium format cameras were designed to be used in a studio environment but Pentax have thrown that idea out of the studio window and come up with a camera that is as versatile and useable in much the same way as any of my Nikon DSLR cameras. During this shoot, I got Zoe to model a couple of new neck pieces I’ve picked up just to see what they are like. I have some great ideas for this and Zoe is coming back to shoot some promo images for a workshop I have in mind.
