Today’s job involved commercial photography for Redrow Homes and Enterprise Car Rentals who have joined forces at he Redrow site in York in order to provide a shared car that residents can book out as and whent they need it. As the Redow development is close to the city centre, the developers are hoping that many residents will not have the need for a car and will be able to commute by public transport during the week. However, we all need a car at some point, maybe at the weekend or for a special trip, so the two companies have joined up for a scheme whereby a rental car is available on site at all times and can be booked out by residents on an as needs basis. This will contribute greatly towards the current environmental issues facing all of us and it seems to be an idea that will become widely adopted. My job was to capture a few press and PR images to go along with the press release.
