September 30th - Anthony in the studio
A quick few test shots ahead of Anthony's portfolio shoot later this month. Here's a moody, low key shot with a bit of dark post processing for effect.
September 28th - Get yer anoraks out
Ok, so its a bit anorak and I never thought I'd get into this, but I've been out doing more steam trains this weekend in the beautiful autumn sunshine. I was again on the North Yorkshire moors, on what turned out to be a cracking day for train photography, to record some of the trains running as part of the annual steam gala. Here's a few from yesterday.

September 25th - Bobbi Jagger in the studio
Bobbi came to the studio looking for fashion and headshots to put forward in her bid to become the face of George (ASDA) and I think we got some images that'll give her a real head start :¬)

September 24th - Walk Britain!
Remember the Norber Erratics when I mentioned there was an up coming project to shoot some landscapes? Well, that's now in full swing and I'm out and about shooting some dramatic landscapes for the Ramblers' Association for their new book, Walk Britain. I'm starting with central England, before moving on to Yorkshire and the Lake District and its great fun, if a little exhausting for an unfit guy like me! The vagaries of the British weather are also making for some interesting shooting conditions to say the least :¬o Here's a shot from Stannage Edge in Derbyshire for a taster.
September 19th - Louise & Andrew's wedding at Gomersall Park Hotel
Sun, warmth and some dark skies to boot - fabulous conditions to shoot a wedding. What a day! The warm autumn sunshine made a welcome change and it felt positively spring like throughout the day. Louise and Andrew's service was held at St Barnabus' Church, Liversedge followed by a reception at Gomersall Park Hotel, Birstall. The grounds were very, very wet from all the recent rains which, in a way was good as it kept us away from the fallen beech trees that everyone else uses and made me work harder to pull out some different images from other locations within the grounds. We had a great day and captured some fabulous images. Here are a few for a sneaky peak.

September 14th - Skateboarding antics
Took my lad and his friend to the skatepark as part of his birthday treat and, of course, I also took my camera and a couple of flashes and had a go at shooting some of the more exeprienced guys doing some crazy, but very clever, skateboarding tricks. Here's a few shots from the day.

September 12th - Simon & Donna's wedding, Bagden Hall, Huddersfield
For the most part of the day, the rain held off for Simon and Donna at Bagden Hall but the heavy, low cloud made for some very, very dark shooting conditions. The weather though, can't spoil a good wedding and we made the most of the conditions and it least we did make it outside for some shots. We also had a session indoors as the light levels dropped further with the location and weather inspiring me to do some moody, dark and, hopefully, romantic images. I love shooting with creative flash techniques both indoors and out and I'm pleased with some of these.

September 7th - Gothic model shoot in Leeds
Another gothic shoot, this time in Leeds underneath Dark Arches and in the Corn Exchange, two great locations for some grungy portraits of this batch of goths. I've loads of images to choose from from this shoot, but here are a few that I've quickly processed to give a flavour of what we got up to.
