Infra red photography in Cyprus

Just returned from a 2 week family holiday in Cyprus refreshed and ready for tomorrow’s wedding at Nostell Priory with Richard and Alice! The weather was a scorching 30dg+ every day with cloudless blue skies, too hot for me – thank goodness for the pool! I still take photos while I’m on holiday of course and it’s one of few occasions where I can shoot images for pleasure rather than working to a brief for a client. I usually just take a couple of Fuji X camras with me and a selection of lenses and I especially love the X Pro 1 that I have had converted to infra red. When I am shooting lightweight and free with the Fuji’s I tend to shoot landscapes, infra red photography and street photography. I love capturing the candid shots of people going about their daily business such as the two guys playing backgammon and the bar tender at Oniros, an amazing restaurant on the edge of the sea cliffs near Agios Georgios in Cyprus.
