Spent the day in the hide trying to photograph diving kingfisher and to say they’re quick is an understatement! I managed a few images that I’m pleased with but due to the low light I had to shoot at a really high ISO which is never good despite what the camera manufacturers say! For the shoot, I used the legendary Nikkor 200 f/2 VR lens which I prefocused and shot in manual mode in the hope of getting at least a few birds in the frame.
